Tunes Banjos Too

Once I found my microphone it worked fine to tune my banjo. Chromatic scale makes it useful for a variety of instruments.
I'd use this software to tune my stringed instruments.

Much more than guitar tuner

I downloaded this to confirm the pitch of several instruments. It is very simple to use and seems to be very accurate. You should know that the download also includes an entire suite of more than 20 audio applications. One program claims to be able to transcribe a CD track into musical notation. Pretty cool if it works. I haven't tried it. The others handle all kinds of recording, transcribing, CD burning, CD ripping, etc.

Best tuner I found

This tuner is as simple as it gets and very effective, it requires no interaction other than through your guitar. Options provide for easy configuration of your sound input settings should these need any adjustment.
